Work Experience

Artificial Womb – Founder & Editor-In-Chief
2015 – Present
I run a feminist arts collective, which publishes a regular zine and weekly online articles. My role involves managing the team, writing articles, proof-reading and editing pieces, sourcing images, doing the graphic design, basic bookkeeping, and selling and promoting the zine through events and social media. We also have an online/pop-up shop, which I run, that stocks both my personal fine art work and work by other feminist and queer creatives.

Round Lemon – Guest Writer
2021 – Present
I contribute feature articles and artist interviews to this online art blog.

NEoN Digital Arts Festival – Various Roles
2016 – 2021
NEoN showcases the work of artists working in digital media locally and internationally. The work I did generated publicity throughout the year, as well as drawing attention to events during NEoN’s annual digital arts festival. Over the years my role expanded and contracted depending on the needs of the organisation – encompassing exhibition invigilation, assisting with workshops, writing and editing press releases, liaising with local and national media, organising print and online advertising, and managing the social media accounts. However, my core responsibility was to generate content for NEoN’s website – northeastofnorth.com – which I did by interviewing artists, writing articles, and reviewing related exhibitions.

Generator Projects – Associate Committee Member
2019 – 2020
Mainly I invigilated, but I have also helped with exhibition installation, social media, and drafting and proofreading press releases.

Dundee Design Project – Volunteer
2020
I volunteered at Dundee Design Project, a social enterprise that stocks artwork and products from local artists and designers, as well as craft supplies. I was a keyholder and opened up the shop one day a week.

Cooper Gallery – Gallery Assistant
2018 – 2019
As a gallery assistant my role included invigilating, stewarding, putting up posters, being available to members of the public, and generally helping out.
